To answer everybodys question on: "Why r u guys showing secular music?", in my opinion, I'd have to say that this show is about music that is positive, has positive lyrics in it and pleases God. I think that the terms "christian" and "secular" music do not explain music very well. Like I said there is music that is positive and pleases God, and there's music that is not good and goes against God and his teachings. Thats how I see it. As for Natasha Beding-however you spell it, i've never seen the video that apperently has revealing clothes in it. that is questionable. hopefully i've answered some questions. its just my opinion. would u agree with me Natasha or any other MR staff? Once the CCM countdown was cancelled we rethought our approach to music television and decided that the term 'Christian' was a great noun, but poor adjective. So we stopped labelling our music videos as 'Christian' about 3 years ago and recently began airing videos from the mainstream market on Most Requested because #1) we were afraid that people were blinding accepting music from the CCM because it was viewed as safe and acceptable and most importantly #2)we think that to be a Christian is to claim truth wherever you find it! So you will see bands like Nickelback and Stabilo from time to time because we feel free to claim whatever is good and true wherever we find it...hope that helps a bit. Allastair, 06.03.06 This show used to be a place to catch the BEST IN CHRISTIAN MUSIC. But now when i turn it on im seeming, Meliessa Oneil, Kelly Clarkson, Coldplay, Rex Goudie, U2, Carrie Underwood, Nickleback (you guys played Savin'Me, but have u heard their song animals, it may make u think twice about showing their videos). It just seems you guys are showing more and more non christian music. Just because their are Christians in a band dosnt mean its a Christian band!
